Update: Final Cover Reveal and Release Date for In His Words

Over the last couple of months, life has been somewhat surreal. With COVID-19 making half the world housebound and work all but drying up for a scary amount of people I’ve been running myself ragged promoting my novella Confession and finishing the first draft of my follow-up novella, In His Words.

In His Words is a very different story than Confession, but it’s still as creepy and as gory as readers of Confession have come to expect. The cast includes; A near-homeless alcoholic, his drug-addicted prostitute neighbour, the matriarch of a Sydney religious dynasty, and the heir to the altar with a secret of his own.

In His Words is the story of Kevin Sanderson, a 40-year-old alcoholic who develops an unreasoned obsession with the Glenn Family, particularly Margaret, after the death of The Hon. The Rev Preston Glenn; a former parliamentarian and a pentecostal preacher.

Here’s the *current blurb

“Stupid gets you killed.”

Kevin Sanderson needs no one.

Not Daisy, the hooker next door, nor his parents long in their graves thanks to a knife and an overdose. But, at the moment when clarity returns after an overdose of his own, Kevin realises Margaret Glenn, the matriarch of the Glenn Family Ministries is his long-lost mother, and nothing will stand in his way to be accepted by the one person on earth he never knew he needed.

In His Words is the matter-of-fact account of the last eighteen months of Kevin Sanderson’s freedom, and the people in his way who prove stupid does indeed get you killed.

* I withhold the right to change this before publication

In His Words is the second instalment in The Sin-Eater Novella Collection by M.R Cullen (that’s me!!) and is scheduled to be released right in time for Halloween. In His Words will be released on Amazon Worldwide on Friday, October 30th, 2020.

To celebrate the completion of the current draft I wanted to let you all know to put the date in your diary and make sure you keep an eye out for this striking cover by R Designs The cover was sourced from SelfPubBookCovers.

Well, that’s it from me today. I hope you’re all safe and sound and home where you should be given the dangers of COVID-19 and I can’t wait to hear what you think of In His Words in October.
